Reports
What they said...
Evening Post
(www.epost.co.uk):
"THE thickness of a post twice denied Bristol City three valuable
points against Second Division high-fliers Burnley at Ashton
Gate.
"Skipper Shaun Taylor almost broke the visitorsÆ resistance with
a glancing header that somehow stayed out, then Greg Goodridge
had a shot pushed onto an upright by keeper Paul Crichton.
"Both chances came in the second half of a frustrating game that
rarely rose above a mediocre spectacle.
CityÆs best crowd of the season ù 11,510 ù turned up, but hardly
got their moneyÆs worth. It maintained an unbeaten home record,
but was their third draw from five league games."
