Mark Ford
A player with two England U-21 appearances to his name, Mark
became Chris Waddle's most expensive signing when he joined from
Leeds United for ú250,000 after making over 50 Premiership
appearances for Leeds.
It could be argued that he never really found his best form that
season, but was still a regular member of the first team despite
suffering a broken ankle.
Ford was released by Stan Ternent in the 1999 close season after
not finding favour with the management.
